Notice the Ram Mount has Thicker metal base
that mounts to the GPS.  This slight difference
in thickness meant the same screws, from
the RAM mount WOULD NOT work with
the new mounting plate

I had to find slightly smaller mounting
screws.  New screw in the middle.  Old
screws are on left and right.

New screws and base mounted together.  With
the slight difference in thickness, the old
screws bottomed out and touched up against
the inside of the GPS mount.

Removing the bottom 2 handle bar bolts
using 7mm Hex Bit.  NOTE: For some
reason your hex wrench set may skip over the
7mm size.  I went to automotive store (AUTO
ZONE)
and bought the 7mm Hex Bit.

Old bolts removed (bottom).  New bolts from
Kewl Metal mount top (with spacers).

New bolts are 8mm so purchased 8mm hex
wrench.

Use loctite on the base of the new bolts.
Follow packaging direction.  Make sure you get
Loctite BLUE.  I know, the packaging for
Loctite BLUE looks red.  BLUE is removal.  RED is
supposed to be permanent.  Get the
right one !!
